Air by CCSquared will soon hold its pre-seed funding round to gain capital for increasing staff and developing technologies and product offerings.

Boca Raton, Florida--(Newsfile Corp. - August 30, 2023) - Florida-based air testing and purification company, Air by CCSquared, is holding its pre-seed funding round to hire more talent and develop product offerings. The company serves industrial hygiene, indoor air, and private businesses hoping to reduce toxic chemical exposure.

Air by CCSquared was founded in 2021 by William Chapman, to address the increasing problem of toxic chemical exposure in businesses, on-the-job, and in homes, caused inadvertently by improvements in building energy efficiency. Chapman felt that industry methods needed modernizing, and is focusing on elements of product shelf life, chemical analysis, and data management, which will ultimately lead to more accessible products.

As scientists have discovered just how lethal some of the chemicals we've been using are, businesses and individuals are increasingly concerned about finding effective chemical detection and removal services. Air by CCSquared functions as a full-service laboratory that allows customers to order chemical detection devices, measure their exposure level by placing the device on or near them, and mailing it back to the laboratory for analysis.

After being processed by our third-party certified facility, customers receive a formal report of their chemical exposure. This accuracy enables businesses and individuals to take action to reduce their chemical exposure by careful consideration of their use protocols and safety measures, such as ventilation systems or PPE.

Air by CCSquared is looking for funding to scale its product offerings. Currently, they provide diffusive samplers for mobile chemical detection to detect new chemicals with higher sensitivities and more market-specific features.

These devices are affordable and effective for commercial and eventually residential applications. Veterinary, fumigation and mortuary professionals find them extremely valuable since they measure the most common toxic substances each sector encounters. When used in private homes, Air by CCSquared measures volatile organic chemicals, chlorinated hydrocarbons like vinyl chloride, formaldehyde, and other chemicals.

Air by CCSquared will be able to rapidly develop these products if they reach their pre-seed funding goal. The company is open to building connections with toxicologists in the industrial hygiene market and other international partners who have market-specific experience in distributing these new products.

The air purification market was valued at 14 billion last year and is expected to increase significantly since commercial and residential applications are lacking solutions. Chapman believes that Air by CCSquared will fill a gap in the chemical purification market by providing a new patent pending air purifier that is affordable and proven to work. In a few short years, the company predicts it will enter the air purification market and provide solutions that are affordable, accessible, and effective ways to reduce chemical exposure.

Air by CCSquared is finding better ways to control chemical exposure in occupations, commercial facilities, and residential buildings.

"We want to create solutions that are accessible and easy to use so we can positively impact society and protect people," Chapman says.

"Reaching our pre-seed funding round will help Air by CCSquared achieve these long-term goals as well as expand our current wearable chemical detection devices and begin developing air purifier technologies."
