The wildfires in Los Angeles are devastating, destroying thousands of homes and buildings. At Air by CCSquared, we are deeply concerned about the chemical hazards these urban wildfires may release into the air. In response, we’ve set up an air sampling center in South Pasadena to begin understanding these risks. The photo shows our initial attempt at sampling, a modest but meaningful step forward. While funding constraints greatly limit what we can do right now, the data we gather will be invaluable for shaping our efforts in the future.
